Villa Derya (which means "ocean view"
in Turkish) is located in a small exclusive development on the hills
near the village of Gundogan on the Bodrum Peninsula overlooking the
intersection of the Aegean & Mediterranean Seas. It is a brand-new
luxury villa just completed in August 2006.
The unique design of Villa Derya’s
arched roof and ottoman window came from the old Greek church which is
found across the bay on `Rabbit Island`. This island can be seen from
all windows facing out across the bay. The interior was designed with
careful attention to detail and luxury.
This villa has three bedrooms, all air conditioned, and can comfortably
accommodate up to 8 adults, in 1 double room, 2 twin rooms, and a large
metal action sofa bed. The sofa bed is of high quality and is very
usable.
The villa contains a fully-equipped kitchen where you will find a
cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a kettle, a toaster.
You will also find a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The
owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware and cooking
utensils. It also has two bathrooms (upstairs and downstairs), a
wood-burning fire place, dining room table and chairs for 6, TV &
DVD with satellite channels.
The villa offers superb outdoor living space, French doors in the
living room open up to the stunning views of the Aegean Sea and of the
front garden which is laid to grass. A second set of French doors from
the third bedroom opens up to a large patio area which also enjoys the
same stunning views of the sea. This patio area is also accessible from
the hall and has outside furniture and sun loungers for 8 people.
Another benefit of Villa Derya is the complex’s “INFINITY” pool, which
is perfect for those who love to lounge the day away and enjoy the
thrill of swimming at eye level with the Aegean & Mediterranean
Seas.
In addition to the pool there are changing and showering facilities, a
children’s playground, a children’s pool and a poolside food and

drinks!
